The Israeli occupation army launched a widespread campaign of raids across the occupied West Bank in the early hours of today, resulting in the arrest of a number of Palestinian civilians. Among those detained is former prisoner Lubna Ezz El-Din, who had been released in an earlier prisoner exchange deal, during an incursion into the town of Arraba near Jenin.
Occupation Forces stormed the city of Nablus and the adjacent Balata and Ein refugee camps. A residential building in the Rafidia area, west of Nablus, was also raided. The operations extended to the governorates of Salfit, Bethlehem, Hebron, Qalqilya, and Tulkarm. A substantial Israeli military force further conducted a raid on the town of Mikhmas, northeast of occupied Jerusalem.

A report in the Yediot Aharonot newspaper revealed that Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich has allocated 2.7 billion shekels for the establishment of 17 new settlements in the West Bank over the coming five years.
In a related development, the Palestinian Ministry of Health announced the death of 21-year-old Baraa Qablan, who succumbed to wounds sustained from Israeli occupation gunfire last night between the towns of Azzun and Izbat al-Tabib near Qalqilya. The Israeli army is currently holding his body.
