Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu dismissed on Sunday the idea of a Palestinian State, as he expected to move on to the second phase of Gaza ceasefire soon.
In a press conference with Germany’s Chancellor Friedrich Merz in occupied Al-Quds, Netanyahu acknowledged disagreements with the top German official, dismissing the idea of a state “committed to our destruction at our doorstep.”
“We have a different point of view, obviously, because the purpose of a Palestinian state is to destroy the one and only Jewish state,” Netanyahu said in remarks quoted by The Times of Israel.
“They already had a state in Gaza, a de facto state, and it was used to try to destroy a one and only Jewish state. We believe there’s a path to advance a broader peace with the Arab states, and a path also to establish a workable peace with our Palestinian neighbors, but we’re not going to create a state that will be committed to our destruction at our doorstep,” the Israeli PM added.

He claimed that the Zionist occupation “will maintain security between the Mediterranean Sea and the Jordan River,” noting that the “annexation of the West Bank remains a subject of discussion, with the status quo expected to remain for the foreseeable future.”
Meanwhile, Netanyahu added that he believed that “the first phase of the ceasefire in Gaza is almost at an end.”
After the return of the body of the final Israeli, “then we shortly expect to move into the second phase,” Netanyahu said, adding he believed that phase will be more difficult.
He added that the third phase will be to “deracialize Gaza,” which he noted “was done in Germany” following World War II.
During a joint press conference with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu said Gaza will be “deradicalized,” in the third phase, drawing comparisons to post-Nazi Germany and imperial Japan.
