Battle of the Formidable in Might is the story of those who were never defeated, but who, with their blood, forged a memory of glory and immortality that will remain alive.
Day 56| Sunday, November 17, 2024
In the context of responding to the Israeli aggression and defending Lebanon and its people, the Islamic Resistance carried out 16 military operations on Sunday, November 17, 2024. These operations targeted settlements, sites, barracks, and concentrations of Israeli enemy forces at the Lebanese-Palestinian border with rockets and artillery shells.
On the ground confrontation front, the Islamic Resistance fighters monitored the movement of a Merkava tank at the Harfa-Jubayl triangle and targeted it with a guided missile, resulting in its destruction and casualties among the crew.
The fighters also targeted concentrations and movements of Israeli enemy forces in the vicinity of the towns of Shimaa and Al-Khiyam with rocket and artillery barrages, scoring direct hits.
The rocket force in the resistance launched barrages of rockets at several military bases, settlements, and cities in northern occupied Palestine, including the “Ma’ale Golani” base (headquarters of the 810th Hermon Brigade) in the occupied Syrian Golan.
The aerial force in the resistance targeted a gathering of Israeli enemy forces east of the town of Al-Khiyam in southern Lebanon with swarms of kamikaze drones.
The Islamic Resistance mourned the loss of the head of the Information Relations Unit in Hezbollah, martyr leader Hajj Muhammad Afif Al-Nabulsi, who was martyred in an Israeli attack on the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
The military media of the Islamic Resistance issued an infographic titled “Operations of the Islamic Resistance since the start of the Israeli war on Lebanon on September 17, 2024, until November 16, 2024.” The infographic included data on the number of operations and their impact on the internal Israeli front, as well as the losses suffered by the Israeli enemy during this period.
On the other hand, Israeli media reported that Hezbollah had launched over 35 rockets from Lebanon towards Haifa and the Western Galilee within an hour, resulting in injuries among settlers in the Western Galilee. Sirens were sounded ten times in various areas of occupied Palestine, particularly in settlements in the Upper Galilee and along the coastal strip from Ras Al-Naqoura in the north to the city of Haifa in the south.
